Validity of PTE Scores

The PTE test was launched in 2009 and newer than IELTS and TOEFL. The PTE Academic test results are available within 5 business days that is so quicker than IELTS and TOEFL.  The test results of the PTE are more detail than IELTS and TOEFL. The range of PTE scores is 10-90 points.  The PTE Academic is taken at more than two hundred exam centers, in addition, more than fifty countries.  The fees of PTE Academic in Bangladesh is Tk.14, 500.00.  To book another test, you will have to wait to receive your test result.

Students will be able to see their PTE scores by sign into their Pearson account, by click on the “View Score Report”.  If they haven’t got received their scorecard, they'll be able to check their junk or spam folder in email. They’ll also be able to contact the Pearson authorities if their scores are on hold.

Registration method for IELTS in Bangladesh

So as to register for IELTS, students should download a copy of an IELTS form.   Students should send to British Council or IDP, ALL of the following documents when they register for their IELTS test: 

·    print-out online IELTS application form or copy of students acknowledgment email (that students receive after completing online registration)  

·    copy of valid passport

·    bank payment slip

Then attach all the documents mentioned above and either drop them in the drop-box kept in the Standard Chartered Bank Service 1 Branches in a new tab or window. or submit them at one of British Council’s offices in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet. 

Students will be able to request for re-evaluation if they are not pleased with their IELTS scores.  Students should pay their inquiry fees, which can be refunded when their band scores changes.  The request for re-evaluation of marks ought to be created at within six weeks.  The results of the re-evaluation would be processed at within 6-8 weeks. Once students have a request for re-evaluation, you can not apply for admission in faculty or universities.
